MATERIAL - SEALERS - SILICONE MOLDED PLASTIC PARTS - EVALUATION OF
Abstract
Leakage rates of C4-1250 silicone-glass molded parts with (1) no resin seal, (2), C-274 silicone-epoxy seal, and (3) XR6-3000 seal were determined. Neither of the resin seals appeared to reduce the leakage rate (in comparison to the control), and the leakage rate did not appear to be influenced by the length of fiber used in the test specimens.
