INTEGRATED PRECISION TUNING SYSTEM

Abstract

Progress is reported on the development of an electronically controlled tuning system. Test data on the experimental model is given. An explanation of several deficiencies, as well as the method of fixing these shortcomings, is given. A brief discussion of intermodulation distortion is included. The results of experiments to determine the effect on transistor intermodulation as a function of load re istance, source resistance, operating point, and AGC are discussed. A number of AGC schemes are investigated. (Author)
