STUDY OF IONOSPHERIC ABSORPTION DURING A SOLAR ECLIPSE. PART I. SOLAR ECLIPSE

Abstract

A program of measurements of cosmic noise absorption by the ionosphere was developed in Florence. The purpose was to observe the absorption variation during the solar eclipse of 15 February 1961. A description of the equipment is made and the results are presented.
