MATHEMATICAL MODEL SIMULATION OF THE LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR AMPHIBIOUS OPERATIONS

Abstract

The purpose of this task is to develop improved transfer systems capable of handling all materials utilized in amphibious operations and initial advanced base supply. This report describes the initial development of a computer simulation of the logistic support of amphibious operations. The results of this work indicate that the mathematical simulation in its present form will not provide reliable answers, but with proposed improvements a computer program can be developed to compare and evaluate logistic systems and components. Development work is continuing. (Author)
