Abstract

The references listed in this compilation were obtained by searching the following sources: (1) Applied Science + Technology Index, 19581962; (2) Architectural Index, 1959-1962; (3) Cumulative Book Index, 1953-1962; (4) Engineering Index, 1959-1961; (5) Index Medicus, 19601962; (6) Library of Congress Books - Subjects Catalog, 1955-1961; (7) National Institutes of Health Library; (8) National Labrary of Medicine Printed Subject Catalog, 1955-1959; and (9) Research Facilities Planning Branch Library. In the preparation of this list of references, an attempt was made to cover all aspects of laboratory design, including planning, landscaping, office design, and equipment. Emphasis has been placed on the most recent information on the design of health-related research facilities.
