SAM CONTOURATOR, MODEL B-AN INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING CHANGES OF SURFACE CONTOURS

Abstract

The SAM Contourator is an instrument developed to record topographic changes of the residual ridges after tooth extraction and to reveal dimensional behavior of ntal a erials. Model B, a modification of model A, reduced the procedural requirem nt of the instrument by allowing for easier and more rapid recording. T pantographic apparatus magnifies the area under study. The contour arm of the machine an t e rticul or r or fle ible and permit easier approach by the operator. (Author)
