SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MODEL 80 SNOW PLANE.

Abstract

Presented are the specifications for the model 80 snow plane. This unit, which is a skimounted, towed-type piece of equipment, is used for leveling and grading natural and compactedsnow areas. Its 80-foot span makes it especially suitable for use on long-wave sastrugi, or winddriven snow, where the crest-to-crest distance exceeds 50 feet and the crest-to-trough height is 12 inches or more.
