Vibration Damping Studies

Abstract

The progressive-wave experiments done so far indicate that the method appears to be a valid one for evaluating vibration damping treatments, the advantages of the method will make it more attractive in certain cases (higher damping, shorter wavelengths, etc.), and further work would be required before such a test could be specified for routine testing.
