A GEOMETRICAL PROOF OF A THEOREM DUE TO D. SLEPIAN

Abstract

This note uses a factorization of covariance matrices technique which allows the author to reduce an n-dimensional problem to one in two dimensions and thus extend a theorem dealing with the theory of one-sided Gaussian noise arriers.
