DEEP-SEA ANCHORING

Abstract

Deep anchoring problems are discussed. Basic catenary equations are used to develop graphical aids to anchoring, and an engineering approach is used to determine cable size, scope, etc.A summary of experience resulting from 24 anchorings is presented and discussed. (Author)
