Abstract
As in the original bibliography, items chosen for inclusion in this revision were chosen primarily becuse they are stated or are easily translatable into the language of role theory. Once again, texts, practitioner literature, hortative material, and closely related theoretical works from other major systems have been excluded. Approximately 150 journals published in the United States and Western Europe dealing with sociology, social psychology, education,AND RELATED FIELDS FOR THE YEARS 1959-62 WERE REVIEWED. (Author)
