A USER-ORIENTED DATA GUIDE TO POTTING AND ENCAPSULATING COMPOUNDS

Abstract

This publication is a data guide to potting and encapsulating materials. The important properties of currently available compounds are listed on standard format sheets. Materials covered include epoxies, polyesters, polyurethanes, polysulfides, polystyrenes, silicones, and ceramics. Also included are related varnishes, copolymers, and miscellaneous potting and encapsulating materials. Detailed information is presented on the general characteristics, applications, chemical resistance, fillers, curing, and formulations. In addition, graphs and crossreference charts are included to assist the user in locating any desired fragment of information. (Author)
