APPLICATION OF THE THEORY OF COMBINED CONTROL SYSTEMS TO ADAPTIVE CYBERNETIC SYSTEMS

Abstract

The report gives further development of invariance theory and also shows t at this theory is applicable not only to ordinary systems with constant characteristics, but also to cybernetic systems. In spite of the great value of invariance theory for automatic control, many scientists and engineers are still not always sufficiently informed about it. Therefore, before going into the basic aim of the report--the possibilities of applying invariance theory to cybernetic or adaptive systems--it is necessary to give a brief summary of this theory.
