HELICOPTER IN THE SERVICE OF GEOLOGY AND OTHER BRANCHES OF THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Abstract

The use of helicopters in the work of expeditions carrying on geological, topographic or valuation surveys in the taiga country and other nearly impassable regions is studied. While helicopters are widely used in the country's economy, their mechanical and flight characteristics have not been fully explored. Further possibilities of using the helicopter as a means of transportation are studied. (Author)
