INVESTIGATION OF ACTIVE DOPPLER VELOCITY SENSOR

Abstract

Investigations were continued toward the advancement of the state-of-the-art of doppler navigation radar techniques to meet the high speed, high altitude requirements of an aerospace vehicle. Effort continued to be concentrated on the development, fabrication, and laboratory testing of a linear FM generator with good shortterm stability. Development of automatic slope control techniques continued with special emphasis being placed on determination of compressed spectral shapes as a function of modulation slope and the development of a flyable automatic slope control loop for forthcoming flight tests.
