Abstract

Meth ds are studied for processing speech signals suc that the bandwidth requirements for the transmission and reception of such signals are markedly reduced and voice intelligibility and qualit are retained. these studies comprise theoretical and experimental investigati ns of speech analysis and synthesis in order to study methodological problems and to construct complete instrumentation.
