A Magnetogasdynamic Asynchronous Generator,

Abstract

The object of the invention is a magnetogasdynamic asynchronous generator in the form of a flat tube made of insulating material with a multiphase winding, which creates a magnetic field traveling in the direction of motion of the gas. The special feature of the proposed generator, which ensures a decrease in the electrical resistance of the secondary-current loop in the gas and an improvement in the operational characteristics, consists in the fact that the end sections of the tube are made of a conducting heat-resistant material, such as graphite or metal.
