ONE-MINUTE TOLERANCE IN MAN TO VERTICAL SINUSOIDAL VIBRATION IN THE SITTING POSITION

Abstract

ONE-MINUTE SUBJECTIVE TOLERANCE IN MAN TO SINUSOIDAL VERTICAL VIBRATION WAS DETERMINED IN THE SITTING POSITION. In comparing the dat to previously published information we noted that, although the new levels were higher, the contour of the curve remained unchanged. The reasons for this difference, as well as specific subjective complaints leading to tolerance, are presented and discussed.
