ADAPTIVE LEARNING SYSTEMS

Abstract

A learning system is defined as a generalization of an adaptive control system. Basic learning system functions such as pattern recognition and the training sequence are discussed. Two proposed learning systems are described and some results are given to demonstrate the theoretical advantage of a system with learning. Studies are incomplete at this time and the paper should be considered as an informal introduction to one point of view on learning systems. (Author)
