A description is given of the co-ordinate measuring machine designed to measure 240 x 240 mm negatives. The basic operations in the res oration of the measuring machine, which was damaged during the war, are described. Studies of the progressive and perio ic repairs to the screw and curvature of the guiding prism are cited. Re ults of the examination indicate the good quality of the machine, which is entirely usable for exact astrographic measurements. (Author)
