Abstract

I ENTIFIERS: Ground effec machines, Hovering. Hovering characteri tics are presented for a 3-foot-di eter annular et GEM having secon ary stabilizing jets. Hoveri g efficiency approaching that predicted for highly developed GEM's was attained by careful design of internal flow passages. Brief wind-tunnel results, s owing the general effects of speed, are also presented. (Author)
