COHERENT OPTICAL SURVEILLANCE DEVICES

Abstract

A gas cell phase shifter has been constructed and evaluated in a Twyman-Green interferometer, with both a low pressure mercury lamp (5461 Angstroms) and a helium-neon laser (6328 Angstroms) as sources. Measurements of phase shift by fringe displacement correspond well with expected results. (Author)
