Abstract

The traditional annual assembly of the Academy of Science USSR met during the week 6-7 February in the House of Scientists. The assembly was opened by the President of the Academy of Sciences USSR, Academician M. V. keldysh. Academician Ye. K. Fedorov, Scientific Secretary General of Presidium of the Academy of Sciences USSR, reported on results of scientific activities of the Academy during the past year.
