GEM PROPUSION SYSTEM STUDY
Abstract
The duct system is designed beforehand and the fan is designed to meet the duct dimensions at the exit of the fan. The problems related to duct design are discussed. T HE INLET AND EXIT CONDITIONS OF A FAN ARE ALSO DISCUSSED. Problems related to the fan design are presented. Using these ba ic considerations, a typical fan and vaned type delivery duct was designed and tested. The detail design is presented. (Author)
