HIGH- AND LOW-TEMPERATURE TESTS OF THE AEROJET UTILITY VAN

Abstract

the utility van successfully completed highand low-temperature tests to verify its acceptability as a transport vehicle for secondstage Minuteman operational motors. A Minuteman motor cast with propellant simulant was used in the tests. While the exterior of the van was subjected to high and low temperatures, ranging from 140 to -35 F, the surface of the motor was maintained within the specified temperature range of 80+/-20 F.
