RESISTORS, FIXED FILM TYPE GENERAL PURPOSE

Abstract

Fixed film resistors were shelf-life and reliability tested. A statistical analysis performed on the 175 C no-load data indicated that 175 C no-load performance is dependent on range and that only the lowest ranges have any possibility of passing this test successfully. Manufacture of resistors for pilot plant testing was begun. Batch screening tests such as: pull, X-ray and noise have been incorporated into the Pilot Run manufacturing to eliminate 'sports' from the process.
