EXTERIOR BALLISTICS OF THE AR-15 RIFLE

Abstract

Identifer: AR-15 rifles, Remington Model 700 ADL Rifles. Bullet stability, lethality, penetration, and deflection were subjects of the physical testing conducted to provide a basis for certain design decisions involving the AR-15 rifle. In addition, bullet shape and muzzle velocity with regard to stability are discussed.
