A TRANSISTORIZED PSEUDO-RANDOM NOISE GENERATOR
Abstract
A stable, transistorized pseudo-random noise generator was designed and developed to operate on a minimum amount of power. It employed a shift register, a coincidence detector, and a clock generator in its operation. A comparison was made between the characteristics of real noise and pseudo-random noise and the operation of the various electronic circuits comprising the generator are discussed.
