Final Report, 1 October-30 June 1962 on Contract no. NONR-248-34 (Johns Hopkins Univ.)
Abstract
The research supported by an ONR contract during the period 1946-1962 is summarized. The aim of the project was to study metabolic, electrical, and mechanical events in neuromuscular function in man and the experimental animal in order to understand these processes and thereby to gain some insight into mechanisms involved in clinical manifestations of disturbances of these functions. References for 105 reports and reviews in the literature which describe the work in detail are appended.
