PHOTO-ACTIVATED PRODUCTION OF FREE RADICALS FROM DIATOMIC MOLECULES AFTER ABSORPTION ON METALLIC SURFACES

Abstract

Calculations for several atomic hyperfine structure spectra constants for various states of S, N, P, B, O, F, and N have been completed. The kind of wave function which can now be calculated from currently available machine programs are adequate to give qualitative agreement with experiment. All known electronic excited states of carbon monoxide have been studied.
