INVESTIGATION OF OPTICAL COATINGS FOR SOLAR CELLS

Abstract

Performance analyses of silicon cell solar power systems using radiation concentration and filtering have been obtained. Performance characteristics of silicon photovoltaic cells and filters have been studied with respect to the relation of their characteristics to the power system design and performance. Elementary conditions of system design for optimum performance have been established. The elements of plan have been outlined for the development of adequate methods for the design and performance analysis of photovoltaic cell solar power systems using radiation concentration and filtering. Also, a basic plan for the construction of a prototype solar power system with concentration and filtering has been outlined.
