THE COLLECTION AND STUDY OF PLANTS CONTAINING DISABELING AGENTS

Abstract

(1) Previously all plants collected were obtained by summer expeditions from the U.S.A. During the past year a Peruvian working for us has been sending substantial quantities of plants throughout the year and the lists of these are attached. (2) A summary of our progress in developing methods for grinding, extracting and screening plants is attached. (3) The results of our efforts to screen for plants with actions on the central nervous system are attached.
