SEVENTH JOINT ARMY-NAVY-AIR FORCE CONFERENCE ON ELASTOMER RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OCTOBER 22-24, 1962 HELD AT U.S. NAVAL RADIOLOGICAL DEFENSE LABORATORY, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. VOLUME 2. 1962

Abstract

These materials are generally based on carborane nuclei which have been demonstrated to be of promising thermal stability. Therefore, by properly combining these chemical and physical attributes, thermally stable elastomers should be realized. Research has shown a number of methods of achieving these combinations. As a result of this work and that of other groups exploring this field, several promising routes to obtaining thermally stable elastomers have presented themselves. (Author-PL).
