A CORRELATION OF IMPACT SENSITIVITIES OF EXPLOSIVES WITH OXIDANT BALANCES

Abstract

This report describes a hitherto explicitly unnoticed relationship between impact sensitivities of explosives or explosive mixtures and their oxidant balance. The consequences of this relationship are explored.
