T2060 Fuze Performance During Bird Dog Rocket Flight Tests

Abstract

This report presents the results of flight tests of twenty-one T2060 proximity fuzes aboard Bird Dog rockets at the U.S. Naval OrdnanceTest Station, Inyokern, California, during the period 9 March to 16 July 1955. These tests were part of a program to determine the feasibility of the Bird Dog rocket as a weapon system.
