OPTICAL COHERENCE DEVICE.

Abstract

The results of time-resolved spectrographic measurements on neodymium-doped glass rods are included. Analyses of the requirements of optical phased-locked laser systems employing neodymium glass active elements are presented. The modifications being implemented on an experimental model system so as to meet these requirements are described. Conclusions are drawn from the results of the theoretical and experimental investigations, and plans for the next period are presented. (Author)
