Development of Test Transmitter Countermeasures Q-Band.

Abstract

System integration of the remote control console operated satisfactorily. Preliminary acceptance tests were performed. Power output and pulse break-up problems were encountered with the use of the GFE magnetrons. This was attributed to the shelf life of the tubes. Opearting the tubes at reduced ratings improved their performance but not to the extent that was expected. The K band frequency portion of the study was deleted. (Author)
