INFRARED QUANTUM DETECTORS

Abstract

The theory of the detection process is described, and data such as noise spectrum, time constant, and resistance are given for the following infrared detectors: the lead salts, impurity-activated germanium, germanium- silicon alloys, tellurium, indium arsenide, and indium antimonide. A description of test procedures, immersion techniques, and cooling devices are appended. (Author)
