FLIGHT TEST OF FUZE, PROXIMITY, GUIDED MISSILE, T3019, S/N 3 ABOARD BOMARC MISSILE S/N 624-19

Abstract

The guided missile proximity fuze, T3019, S/N 3 was flown aboard Bomarc missile S/N 624-19 on 1 May 1958 at the Atlantic Missile Range, Cape Canaveral, Florida. This was the third of a continuing series of T3019 fuzes to be flight tested. An abnormality in the missile's power supply precluded target intercept; hence the fuze units were not tested. Operation of the arming programmer unit was proper since it performed all of the functions that were required. A tabulated summary of T3019 flight test results is included. (Author)
