Laser Design Concepts Studies.
Abstract
A preliminary design of an interim model laser weapon which will produce a 3 x 1000 joule/sq cm pulse in 10 to the 7th power sec. and meet all other required specs is presented. This model consists of a master laser driver/oscillator feeding a series-parallel array of laser amplifier-Q switch sections. (Author)
