This document is a compilation of the papers presented at the Conference on Progress of the X-I5 Project held at the IAS BuildingLos Angeles, California, July 28-3O, 1958. This conference was held by the Research Airplane Committee of the U. S. Air Force theU. S. Navy, and the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics to report on the technical status of this research airplane. The paperswere presented by members of the staffs of North American Aviation, Inc Reaction Motors Division, Thiokol Chemical Corp.; Naval Air Development Center; Wright Air Development Center; Air Force Flight Test Center; and National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics.
