Drag and Stability for the Pershing Nose Cone Obtained from Free-Flight Model Firings at Transonic to Hypersonic Velocities (Mach 1.06 to 9.26).

Abstract

Range firings have been conducted using three sizes of PERSHING nose cone models to obtain drag and stability data at Mach numbers from 1.06 to 9.26. The models were found to be both statically and dynamically stable at the Mach numbers investigated. (Author)
