The Effect of Geomagnetic Anomalis on the Detection Range of Mod Equipment.

Abstract

A method of estimating the effects of geologic anomalies on the detection range of MAD equipment is described. Presently available data on the total magnetic field are used in conjunction with a dipole model to calculate the frequency spectrum of the geologic noise. The effects of an ideal high pass filter on the geologic and target signals are calculated. (Author)
