Suitability and Effectiveness of Weapons and Equipment Used in US-Supported Operations with the Royal Laos Army

Abstract

An analysis of the suitability and effectiveness of weapons and equipment used in US-supported operations with the Royal Laos Army is presented. Data was obtained from interviews with MAAG officers assigned in Laos. The following areas are discussed in the report: analysis of specific small arms, uniforms, communication equipment, rations, training, education, logistics, intelligence, operations and characteristics of personnel.
