UNDERWATER FREE-FIELD PRESSURE MEASUREMENTS

Abstract

The objectives of this project were to determine the free-field pressures as a function of time, depth, and range at distances greater than 5000 ft from a deep underwater atomic bomb burst and to study the influence of refraction conditions, surface and bottom reflections, etc., on these pressures.
