ARMED HELICOPTER TEST

Abstract

Tabular data are presented from a second armed helicopter test which was started by the Army Concept Team in Vietnam. It is entitled "Armed Helicopter Escort of Transport Helicopters." The purpose of the test is to determine whether the findings and conclusions of previous testing of armed escort helicopters are applicable to operations conducted in different terrain, under different weather conditions, and employing a different transport helicopter. The new test, requiring four months, will be completed on 30 November 1963.
