SEA VIXEN MK.1 AIRCRAFT. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AIRSTREAM DIRECTION DETECTOR POSITION AND AIR CRAFT INCIDENCE

Abstract

An investigation is reported into the feasibility of using the Airstream Direction Detector as a means of measuring aircraft incidence in normal flight, with a view to its use in the weapons sighting system. As a result of this investigation it is recommended that this system of measuring aircraft incidence in flight be brought to the notice of all interested parties, especially those concerned with weapon sighting systems.
