EXPERIMENTAL DETERMINATION OF QUASI-STEADY FLUTTER COEFFICIENTS AT HYPERSONIC SPEEDS M SUB N=5 TO 10

Abstract

Experimentally determined quasi-steady aerodynamic flutter coefficients, as defined by piston theory, are presented for models having a modified double wedge or a modified single wedge profile in the Mach number range 5 less than or equal to M sub N less than or equal to 10. The values of the experimentally determined coefficients are compared with their corresponding theoretical values over the same Mach number range. (Author)
