RESEARCH IN FLUORINE CHEMISTRY.
Abstract
The interhalogen compound chlorine pentafluoride, ClF5, was synthesized by electrolysis from the HF-NaF-Cl2 system. Syntheses were conducted both with and without a gas electrode under various experimental conditions. (Author)
