Wave Measurement Program Project Spin Drift. Part I. Feasibility Study.

Abstract

This report is concerned with the feasibility of measuring waves likely to be produced by the SPIN DRIFT program, assuming the field site to be Johnston Island. Accordingly, the study concerns the nature of wave data needed to advance prediction techniques and evaluate the possibility of obtaining such data from SPIN DRIFT. An analysis of natural and transient environmental influences on instrumentation is included in the report. (Author)
